12. Raster analysis with Leaflet
In which we use raster data with Leaflet, and undertake spatial analysis to understand green space availability in Kampala, Uganda.

This version of the course is several years out of date and parts of it will not work - it is here just for the benefit of my 2022 dissertation students who want some grounding in Leaflet and associated technologies.
In which we use raster data with Leaflet, and undertake spatial analysis to understand green space availability in Kampala, Uganda.
In which we will visualise commute flows around the London Underground using Google Maps and Turf.js
In which we address the use of raster data with Leaflet, and continue to build or skills in PGIS and Firebase.
In which we will use a Firebase database in order to make a participatory GIS platform.
In which we explore geocoding and route calculations in order to make our very own turn-by-turn route planner!
In which we load Open Data onto our map live from the web, and visualise it using Turf.js!
In which we learn about objects, and conditionals JavaScript, then use some GeoJSON to make an interactive world map!
In which we get stuck in at the deep end with some JavaScript, handle some events and transform some coordinates!
In which we get to grips with Leaflet Maps, learn how to make a web page and even make our first Map with JavaScript!
